Although medication management is an important part of my practice, I can not only do medication management. Listening to your description of challenges you face/d in life is my job, until you have overcome your excessive symptoms and able to live with mild ones!

Practice of medicine is often based on combining science and art; while the former is constant among practitioners, the later varies based on style, experience, and opinion. Most patients refer to me might have signs of affective disorder spectrum which ranges form mild symptoms of dysthymia and cyclothymia to severe symptoms of melancholia and psychotic mania. In the long run, these disorders usually respond better to antidepressants, mood stabilizers, and neuroleptics. With this in mind, and due to their dependency potential, I rather avoid prescribing stimulants, benzodiazepines, and narcotic pain medications except for detoxification. Of course some patients have benefited and continue to benefit form such medications. If you need any medications with dependency potential in the long run, you are best served to see an expert with subspecialty in in ADHD/ADD, anxiety disorders, and chronic pain respectively.

For the patients refereed by Blue Cross, PacifiCare, and MHN we will bill the insurance directly. Other patients are also welcome to be evaluated and treated; however, they will be responsible for obtaining compensation form their insurances for paid visits.
